The RTF88 Journey – From Idea to Trusted Platform
The story of RTF88 started with a simple observation: many Malaysians wanted to enjoy online betting, but struggled to find a platform that truly understood their local needs. Whether it was language, payment methods, or simply having customer support they could speak to in Bahasa Melayu without waiting hours for a reply – most platforms available at the time felt distant and out of touch.
The founding team behind RTF88 — made up of professionals from Malaysia's fintech and digital entertainment industries — set out to build something different. Something that felt like it was made for Malaysians, by people who truly understand Malaysia. The result is the RTF88 you know today: a platform that puts the local user experience first in every aspect, from the very first button you tap to the winnings that land in your account.
One of RTF88's biggest priorities from day one has been seamless payment integration with Malaysia's digital financial ecosystem. We were among the first in the industry to fully support Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. That means you do not need to create a new account or learn an unfamiliar payment system — just use the e-wallet already on your phone.
When it comes to sports, RTF88 has a genuine focus on the games closest to Malaysians' hearts. The Malaysia Super League football market is one of the most active on our platform — we understand how important it is for Malaysian players to back their local teams like Johor Darul Ta'zim, Selangor or Kedah with odds that stand up against EPL betting. Badminton holds an especially prominent place at RTF88, with full coverage of the Malaysia Open, Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup and all BWF World Tour matches featuring our national heroes like Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik.
The casino section at RTF88 is equally compelling. Our Live Casino features blackjack, baccarat, roulette and dice tables streamed in high definition with real human dealers, giving you the feel of a real casino floor without ever leaving home. RTF88's progressive jackpot slots consistently offer prizes worth millions of MYR that can hit at any moment — and the record shows that RTF88 members across Malaysia have already walked away with life-changing jackpot wins.
RTF88 also takes its social responsibility within the gambling industry very seriously. We provide a comprehensive suite of self-control tools, including daily and weekly deposit limits you can set yourself, loss limits, betting limits, and a self-exclusion option if you feel you need a break from gaming. Our team is also trained to recognise signs of problem gambling and will proactively reach out to members if any concerns arise. For us, this goes beyond a legal obligation – it is a moral commitment we hold firmly.
RTF88 Privacy Policy
All your personal information is stored securely using 256-bit SSL encryption. RTF88 never sells or shares your data with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy in full for more details on how we protect your privacy.
Technologically, RTF88 stays ahead of the curve. Our platform is built on a stable cloud infrastructure with a 99% uptime guarantee, meaning service disruptions are virtually unheard of — even during high-stakes moments like a Thomas Cup final or a decisive EPL fixture on the weekend. The RTF88 mobile app is fully optimised for all major Android and iOS devices, delivering a smooth experience even on slower internet connections.
RTF88 will continue to grow and improve. In the near future, we plan to add more game options, expand our coverage of local sports including e-sports — which is rapidly growing in Malaysia — and introduce new features that will make the betting and gaming experience at RTF88 more enjoyable, more personalised and more meaningful. Your loyalty as an RTF88 member is our greatest motivation to keep innovating.
